What level of experience do I need to join the workshops?
The workshops are open to all levels and types of photographers, we only ask that you come committed and willing to learn!
Where are the workshops taught?
The workshops are taught in our facilities, we are located at Calle A #52, Suite 1, Urb. Los Jardines del Sur, Sto.Dgo, DR. Phone 829-644-1322.
How is the day of the workshop?
Our workshops begin with a welcome introduction, this allows us to know and get acquainted with everyone, followed by working on the set, a rest break, the continuation of the workshop and the recapitulation of what was done during the day. We encourage participation, so you can ask any questions you have during the class.
What equipment do I need to bring?
It is recommended to bring a DSLR camera and a pair of lenses to vary. Please also bring some memory cards, a spare battery and your digital portfolio if you want us to take a look! If you are joining a digital retouching workshop you will be required to bring a laptop with Photoshop and Camera Raw installed. Additional information about the equipment (if necessary) will be sent by email to the students before the workshop.
What does the cost cover?
The total value covers the workshop, a snack, support material and certificate. Accommodation or travel are not included, however, if you need recommendations or assistance we are willing to help!. To reserve, it is necessary to make the 50% payment via electronic transfer to the Banco Popular current account 765502927 in the name of Edil Méndez. The remaining of the payment must be made during the week before the start date of the workshop.
Is my deposit refundable?
We understand that sometimes unexpected changes happen, so we try to be as flexible as possible with cancellations. We have to be notified of your cancellation as soon as possible, this gives us time to give the space to someone else. The deposit is not refundable, however we allow it to be used as credit for another workshop.
What happens if a workshop date is canceled?
If we have to cancel a workshop for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible and we will apply the credit towards another course or date.
How many students will there be?
We try to keep the groups as small as possible, so we limit the amount to a maximum of 10 students, this allows us more individual time on the set.
What are the terms of use of the images we take in the workshop?
The images taken by each individual are not for commercial use, you are allowed to use the images for your portfolios, web pages and social networks. Any commercial use (print sales, exhibitions, etc.) must be clarified prior to its use with Edil Méndez, for a better professional management.
